CENTRAL TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST (CTET)-JAN 2012
The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India has
entrusted the responsibility of conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility
Test (CTET) to the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi which
will be held on 29.01.2012 (Sunday).
1 The CTET shall apply to schools of the Central Government (KVS, NVS, Tibetan
Schools, etc.) and schools under the administrative control of UT of Chandigarh
and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
2 CTET may also apply to the unaided private schools, who may exercise the option
of considering the CTET.
3 Schools owned and managed by the State government/local bodies and aided
schools shall consider the TET conducted by the State Government. However, a
State Government can also consider the CTET if it decides not to conduct the
State TET.
Cost of CTET Information Bulletin and Application Form
(i) For General/OBC candidates Rs.500/-
(ii) For SC/ST/Differently abled candidates Rs.250/-

Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura, Lahaul and Spiti District and Pangi Subdivision of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Island and
Lakshadweep.

పదోన్నతుల్లో వికలాంగులకు 3 శాతం రిజర్వేషన్
వికలాంగ ఉద్యోగులు, ఉపాధ్యాయులకు పదోన్నతుల్లో 3 శాతం రిజర్వేషన్లు వర్తింపచేస్తున్నట్లు రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం ప్రకటించింది. ఈ మేరకు మహిళా శిశు సంక్షేమ, వికలాంగుల శాఖ ప్రత్యేక ముఖ్య కార్యదర్శి ఎం ఛాయారతన్ జీవో నెంబర్ 42 విడుదల చేశారు. ఇప్పటికే కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్యోగులకు 3 శాతం రిజర్వేషన్లు అమలవుతున్నాయని తెలిపారు. ఈ రిజర్వేషన్లను రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వంలోని అన్ని శాఖలు, సచివాలయం, వివిధ శాఖల ప్రధాన కార్యాలయాలూ వర్తింపచేయాలని ఆదేశించారు. ప్రతి వంద పాయింట్లలో రోస్టర్ చట్రంలో నెంబర్ 6, 31, 56 పాయింట్ల వద్ద వికలాంగులకు పదోన్నతులు కల్పించాలని ఉత్తర్వుల్లో పేర్కొన్నారు.

National Talent Search Examination(NTSE)-2011
The NCERT conducts the National Talent Search Examination for students studying in Class VIII only.
1. Scholarships: On the basis of the examination conducted, 1000 scholarships will be awarded for each group of students appearing for Class VIII examinations. The amount of scholarship will be Rs.500/- per month as per NTS rules.

- The applicant should have secured more than 500 marks in SSC Public Examination Conducted in March / April every year by A.P.Govt
- Scholarship is applicable only to students studied in Schools of Govt., / Zilla Parishad / Municipal corporation / Municipality / Govt. Aided and TTD Schools.
- The applicant should be below poverty line as per State Govt., orders issued from time to time
- Scholarships will be extended to 1,000 students, every year and an amount of Rs:300/- per month will be awarded by TTD in two equal installments.
- The applicant should apply through online application placed in TTD Official websites i.e. 'tirumala.org/tirupati.org', which will be available from 5th July onwards to 31st July,2011 up to 5.00 PM only. CLICK HERE TO APPLY

PROCEDURE TO CHANGE THE NAME OF A PERSON (MAJOR or MINOR)
Procedure for change of Name: Major applicant
1. As per Government Order GO (P) No. 483, GA (General C),
8th December, 1977, applicant (Native of Andhra Pradesh)
must file application in Annexure 1 to District Magistrate (District Collector)
enclosing following documents ( As per circular No. D5/7096/2003
of District Collector Hyderabad dated 30-08-2008) :
a. Two latest passport size colour photograph
b. Two independent citizenship certificate issued by Gazetted Officer
c. Personal sworn and signed affidavit of the applicant on Non – Judicial
stamp paper of Rs.10/- attested by notary stating exact reason for
change of his/her name.
d. Educational certificate from class I to Class Xth attested by Gazetted
Officer. In case of illiterate person any other proof of his name, age
such as ration card, voter list, electricity bill, water bill etc copy
attested by Gazetted Officer
e. Certificate from local Police station certifying that the applicant has
not come to any adverse records during last 5 years.
f. A certificate from the astrologer/numerologist in case request for
change for name is on such reasons.
2. District Magistrate after such enquiry as he think fit, will issue order in a
Forma as per Annexure II to the applicant.
3. Applicant then will send another application to Commissioner, Government
Printing Press along with order of District Magistrate for publication as
private advertisement in Andhra Pradesh Gazette on payment of publication
charges. Publication charges of Rs.50 for weekly Gazette and Rs 375 for
ExtraOrdinary Gazette Per application can be paid to Commissioner,
Government Printing Press in shape of Bank Challan or Demand Draft.
4. Minor applicant: If applicant is minor, as per Government Order, GO (P)
No. 332 General Administration (Genl. C) Dept dated 06.06.1983, Parent or
Guardian of a minor child can apply for change of name of child in
Annexure III and by following the procedure indicated for major applicant.
5. Applicant is a Government servant: As per Government Order GO (P)
No. 182, General Administration (General C) Dept dated 24-04-1985, the
Governmnet servant need not obtain order from District Magistrate in
annexure II but should execute a Deed as per Annexure IV on Non –Judicial
stamp paper of Rs. 5/- attested by two witnesses preferably those known to
the Head of the office in which Government employee is serving. The Deed
should be published in prominent local newspaper as well as in Andhra
Pradesh Gazette at his own cost. Process for publication in AP Gazette is
same as that for other applicants.
